What Is Mindfulness?
Learning to quieten the mind can be valuable for our mental health, the art of Mindfulness is something we can all learn.
Mindfulness is not about making the mind blank it is about paying attention to what is happening when it’s happening.
We can practice being mindful throughout the day by taking time to stop and breathe.
When we engage in sports or any activity, we can become mindful as we stay present in the moment.
Concentrating on breathing while participating in activity, are all ways that can help to quieten the mind and anchor us.
Sometimes it is difficult to practice on your own but by bringing mindfulness into our daily life we begin to feel calmer, happier and more insightful over time.
